February Started Out As Usual

With costumes

Our warrior knight

I don't seem to have any pictures of our #2 son for this entry. I asked him where he was, and he replied, "In bed." Hmm. I missed him. Hiding from the camera no doubt! I'll get him before February's done!

Costume after Costume

Everyday is a dress up day here. This particular day a different costume seemed to show up every few minutes. Here are a few of my favs.

The crusader

a 2-year-old ninja turtle

and to top it off, a bulky Mr. Incredible with breastplate and pirate's hat.

and a cute baby, no costume needed!

Boo at the Zoo

The zoo had a "halloween" event on Saturday. The boys were excited to go to the zoo in costume.

These slides were hilarious. Nobody seemed to be able to slide down them. The kids would sit down and then shuffle themselves down the slide.

At the end of a little maze, the boys had their picture taken AS maize.

They walked in a little costume parade, which turned out to be just a bunch of people (mostly in costume) walking in a big circle trying not to run over the other people standing around.

King Richard, the Lion-hearted

Robin Hood

The Skunk

The Pumpkin (the boys called her pumpkin all day)

On our way out, we stopped to climb on the rocks.

This costume MUST have been designed to help prevent injury. This little skunk went head over heels bouncing down the rocks. Everyone around was gasping, and he got to the bottom, stood up and said, "Whoa, ah man." I was grateful for an overly stuffed costume and hat.

"My hand is DIRty; it has mud on it."

Stinky

All the talk of dressing up for Halloween got this little guy in the mood.
