Dress Up

Our kids generally love playing dress-up. These photos show the range of personalities of our children: has to be just right down to the last detail, the minimalist, and the just-whatever-I- decide-fits-the-occasion, and then the baby of course is still in the whatever-Momma-puts-on-me stage of life.

(The baby looks awfully interested in those sunglasses.)

This chap wanted to be in on the dressing up but didn't want to wear anything cowboy. All he could find to suit his fancy were these green sunglasses.

I'm thinking if he ever needs real glasses we WON'T go with green.

He thinks the camera can't take his picture if he covers his eyes.

We kept trying to get her to wear a hat.

Hands up! OK.

This little cowboy is always available for a picture with his sister.

Off with the hat!

What'd ya say, pardner?

Another hat.

The cowboy. Lookin' good.

Yo-yo Some Mo

Again?

The boys all tried their hand at yo-yoing.

The Hoola Hoop

Pa challenged Gramma to a hoola-hoop contest.

Look at 'em go.

Guess who won? Gramma.

And not to be outdone :)

A new take on photographing the photographer

Hold on!

Pa helping the boys build racers.

The Scorpion (it was fast! And it could turn into a gun.)
The Stegasaurus (it looked cool but had some issues with fast.)

That's Mine. (I don't think this one actually had a name. It went fast but not straight.)

Heritage Park

While Gramma and Pa were here, we all went to Heritage Park's Gasoline Alley. Family Day weekend events were on and it was a fun time. Here the boys are pretending to drive a car up to a drive-in theatre.

Watching the movie

Hey aren't we all too young for them to be driving?

Now that's a scary thought :)

Triking around Gasoline Alley.

(Does this guy look like he's been avoiding my camera? Nah! But the shirt says it all; I definitely "Wanted" to catch him facing me and not running the other way.)

Wondering if Daddy is going to pick her up
