Just the Baby

I realized she didn't make it into any of the Sunday shots. Here she is on Tuesday.

Oh so sweet!

More from the Big Hill Springs

My friend took these photos.

I did take this one.

My friend and her boys

The troop
M. always ends up wearing one of the boys' hats. The cowboy hat works nicely; the Bob the builder cap is. . .well. . .a bit small.

Sunday at Big Hill Springs

Sunday after church we took a picnic lunch to Big Hill Springs Provincial Park. It is a beautiful spot.

The boys had a great time walking in frigid water, on fallen logs, sqiurting their friends with water guns, and playing with sticks.

Our pastor's family told us about the spot and invited us with them Sunday. They have four boys (9,7,4,2)--best buds for our boys. They have very similar interests--so similar in fact they're pretty much the same.

Another spot worth visiting again

Play Park Antics

Okay, this post is the last from our Saturday outing. You might want to scroll down 3-4 entries (or so) to start at the beginning, but if you rather start here, it'll all make sense by the end.

This is a young girl from our church on a see-saw with two of our boys (1st and last on the right) and a friend (in the middle). They tried all sorts of combinations, but surprise, surprise, the see-saw only went down on her side when the boys "fell" off.

What hams! What fun! It was a great day.

Tree Fun

These two got tired of soccer and decided to climb trees.

Once soccer was over the boys played tug-of-war. They couldn't beat each of the dads that they went up against so they decided to try a new opponent.

It was a tie; no one fell down.

Soccer with South Africans

All of our boys joined in the soccer game.

Our host's son: the boys thought it was really cool that he could bounce the ball off his head.

They played long and hard.

Saturday with our South African Friends

Saturday we met some friends from church at the park. They are from South Africa and cook AMAZING food! They'd invited us, along with other folks in the church, to play at the park and eat. We had a fabulous time. The boys played soccer, climbed trees, played tug of war with our host and his two sons, played at the play park, ate fabulous food and then crashed into bed at 9:30 p.m.

Peek-a-boo

Dreaming of soccer and climbing trees? Nah, probably about riding horses :)
Another little girl (not South African) from church who just LOVES our baby girl.

Thursday

I had my 4-week checkup today. I weigh 10 pounds, 2 ounces. Yea, I'm growing.

The boys had a fun ride in the wheelbarrow.

They even got to ride with 165 lbs of "play sand,"

which went here.

Awake!

It's not often I can get a shot with eyes completely open.
