With the brothers

Our baby girl loves her three brothers and they think she hung the moon. Life just couldn't be better.

The older brother was "behind the scenes" being a prop--making sure the baby didn't clonk over. Brother #2 wanted in on the photo shoot.

Brother #3 was asleep for the earlier photos, but here he is after we got our Christmas tree up.

It amazes me how much they kiss and hug on this baby, bring her toys, and want to take care of her. I'm so grateful for our sweet kiddos!

Baby Girl

I took these pictures back in December, but since I'm trying to catch up. . .

I love this! She cuts her eyes to the side all the time.

Happy girl!

One of her Christmas presents was a bunny hoody towel. I had to get a few shots of her wrapped up in it.

Louisiana at a Glance

We stayed and played with grandparents,

Had frosties and played with the cousins,

Met new cousins,

Tromped in mud puddles (muddy truck ruts really),

did a little target shooting,

and visited the great-grans. (We actually stayed a few nights with them as well.)

In short, we had a super fun time (to quote our 2-year-old). I'll post more photos later, though I must admit I lost the camera card with MOST of our photos. The photos I have are only of the last weekend we were in Louisiana. Perhaps the other card will turn up; we had such fun and would love to share it!

Christmas Card Attempts

Here are the next two attempts:

First

Second try

So when you get your Christmas card/photo/letter, you'll know what we ALL went through to get the picture.

Christmas Catchup

I thought I'd start where I left off. Here are some of the first attempts at getting a photo for our Christmas card. I made the mistake of trying to get everyone to sit (relatively) still AFTER we got home from church, which as everyone knows is a crazy idea. Oh well, I tried and here's what came of it.

(I think this one is pretty cute. If only the baby had been looking forward. . .)

(Looking back, I really like this one. Why didn't I use it? Hmmmm)

These two crack me up! The baby's obviously aware of the fact that her 2-year-old brother would rather be somewhere else.

This is the ham we were dealing with!

I think next year I'll just send a goofy shot. That's real life after all.

We're Back!

We sat, we ran, we caught the planes
But now we're here at home again.
Back to school and our routine
House and kiddos, all are clean
Now. . .back to blogging!
