McLean Pond with the Snows

Last Saturday, we met up with one of Matt's collegues and his children at McLean Pond.

Searching for a table and fire pit

The youngest "walking" member needed a little help

Sweet Sisters

The boys had a great time throwing rocks, "hunting," and just exploring the water's edge and woods nearby.

Crossing the log to follow the kids

Look how big my stick is!

Baby quietly fell asleep on her daddy's shoulder.

Mmmm. . .chips as appetizer

Shhh! Don't tell them where I am.

Boys hiding--I'm not sure from whom.

Wood for our fire

The boys were great helpers fetching the wood the Snows brought.

This was a fun moment. HORSESHOES!

These are heavy

but he manages to throw them anyway

just get out of the way!

Dads chatting

Tired boy with marshmallow and "green stuff" (off a pine tree)

Of course no day at the pond is complete without shooting the slingshot.

Most exciting of all was the beaver we saw.

What's the password?

More "green stuff"

Goofy kids
Fantastic Fun!
