Tuesday Morning--Getting Ready to Leave
Poppa and Grandma Peggy came to tell us good-bye.

We had a wonderful, cozy spot in the Amoses' basement apartment: full kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom, even washer and dryer. I managed to get all of our clothes washed before we came home. How nice it was to unload out of the suitcases into our chest-of-drawers.

This little outfit was from the Joneses. Don't you just love the plush, pink bunny slippers!

Monday Night at the Griesers'
We went for supper Monday night at the Griesers'. Once again I failed to get a photo of the whole family, so here are bits and pieces.
More Friends on Sunday Evening
Sunday
Sunday my friend's twins were baptized. We all had lunch together after; a reception was later in the afternoon.

Baby A and Baby B

Baby B

Baby A

These babies are adorable. And SO tiny still but look great and healthy. I think they are both about 8# now. (At birth they were both just under 5 1/2#--nice size for twins.)

I needed to run down to the basement apt where we stayed and handed our little girl off to a friend. When I came back, she was sound asleep.

Look at these handsome guys! My sister and I used to "tote" these boys around on our hips (of course they were MUCH smaller then!)

This one will be 18 this weekend. He was "my baby" all those years ago at Auburn. He went everywhere with me. Lots of memories with this one, I can't believe he's nearly grown.

Poppa and Mr. Billy
Grandma Peg and her great-granddaughter
Another Moscow friend, originally from Louisiana. So nice to reconnect.
The twins' older brother (he's 2 1/2)
