Who knew what a BIG deal Stampede is here in Calgary? A big parade on Friday kicks it off; everyone either has or goes to a pancake breakfast on Saturday. Then it's rodeo time all week.
We went with our friends to a pc. bfast at the other presbyterian church. It was fun and really quite the FREE breakfast with pancakes, sausage, ham, strawberries, blueberries, whipping cream, syrup, coffee, and oj. The best bfast in Calgary we've been told.
Yes, those are boots. :)
The church also provided a dirt pile and toys for the kids to play in. The boys had fun burying a cobra.
Balloons too!
